TRANCE FORM stands for transforming: the process from idea to product. The main question is "What do you want to communicatie with who?" In designing I use the clients function and targets as guideline, so the new product fits seamless in its communication strategy. A corporate identity, printed publications or a website never stands alone but is part of the way the company presents itself to the world. This way is also changed by adding another piece. Designing a logo or corporate identity I prefer co-operation and interaction with the client. In a number of phases a search for the item that fits the client and organization. I combine creativity to a practical approach because a communication item is a means to an end. I also can provide additional work like photography, photoshopping and colour advice. |

Personal information: I was born in 1959 in The Hague and lived in almost all parts of the town. In 1990 I started desiging corporate identities, mostly for small companies and non-profit organizations. At first besides of my job as information officer for the urban renewal in The Hague which I combined with my study at the Institute of Construction Art Development. In 1995 I severe health problems, later on labelled as a postviral syndrome, made an end of this inspriring period. After a few years of inactivity I fought my way back into life, putting my creativity in Trance Form´s projects.
A few years I moved little by little to the Canary island La Palma, which added tourism to my work. Since a while I also write on regular basis, short articles and web-content about various subjects. In Dutch, of course. For some years I participate in the Wholism Project, recently as a Project Partner. |
